About us
Helping Female Athletes Build Their Game. Their Confidence. Their Future. H.E.R. Softball Hub was created with one simple belief: female athletes deserve access to high-quality coaching, meaningful development opportunities, and a supportive environment where they can become the best version of themselves — both on and off the field. Founded by Morgan and Trent Walter, H.E.R. Softball Hub was born out of a passion for softball and a desire to create something different for athletes in Southeast Saskatchewan and beyond. We understand that every athlete has a different starting point, different goals, and a different path to success. Whether an athlete is picking up a glove for the first time, working toward making a provincial team, or dreaming of playing college softball, our goal is to meet them where they are and help them take the next step. Through individual instruction, group training, camps, travel teams, mental performance development, recruiting support, showcases, and other athlete-development opportunities, H.E.R. Softball Hub is committed to creating a complete development pathway for female softball players. We aren't just here to help athletes become better softball players. We're here to help them become better athletes, better teammates, and more confident people.

Our Coaching Philosophy
Development Over Results. Process Over Perfection. At H.E.R. Softball Hub, we believe development is a journey. We don't expect athletes to be perfect. We expect them to learn, work, compete, and grow. Our coaching philosophy is built around five key principles: 01 — Fundamentals First Strong athletes are built on strong fundamentals. We focus on developing quality movement patterns and skills that athletes can build on as they progress. 02 — Purposeful Practice We want athletes to understand the why behind what they're doing. Every drill, repetition, and training session should have a purpose. 03 — Confidence Matters Skill development and confidence go hand in hand. We want athletes to leave our programs feeling more confident in their abilities and more prepared to compete. 04 — Compete & Challenge Yourself Growth happens outside of your comfort zone. We challenge athletes to compete, try new things, make mistakes, and learn from them. 05 — Develop the Whole Athlete Softball is only one part of an athlete's development. We want to help athletes develop leadership, resilience, communication, accountability, confidence, and other skills that will serve them far beyond the field.
Why H.E.R.
There are a lot of places athletes can go to take a lesson or attend a camp. We want H.E.R. to be more than that. H.E.R. Softball Hub is designed to provide athletes with a pathway. From Learn to Play through competitive softball and collegiate aspirations, we want athletes to have opportunities to continue developing at every stage of their journey. That means providing access to: Individual and small-group instruction Group training programs Camps and clinics Winter development programs Travel team opportunities Mental performance development Recruiting education and support Showcase and exposure opportunities Video analysis and individualized feedback Community and connection with other female athletes Most importantly, we want athletes to know that they belong here. Our Promise
We can't promise that every athlete will make every team. We can't promise that every athlete will play at the collegiate level. And we certainly can't promise that development will always be easy. But we can promise to invest in every athlete who walks through our doors. We'll challenge you. We'll encourage you. We'll celebrate your progress. We'll help you through setbacks.
