Morgan Walter

Co-Owner & Founder

Morgan Walter is a co-owner and founder of H.E.R. Softball Hub and brings a combination of collegiate playing experience, coaching experience, sport science education, and a passion for female athlete development to the organization. A former collegiate softball player, Morgan understands firsthand the commitment, challenges, and opportunities that come with pursuing softball at a high level. Her experiences as an athlete helped shape her belief that development goes far beyond physical skill — confidence, mindset, preparation, communication, and understanding the game all play an important role in an athlete's success. Morgan holds a masters degree in Sport & Exercise Science from West Texas A&M University and has continued her education in Sport Management. Her background has allowed her to combine her experiences as an athlete with a strong understanding of athlete development and sport performance. Through H.E.R. Softball Hub, Morgan is passionate about creating opportunities for female athletes that she wishes she had access to throughout her own playing career. Her coaching philosophy centers around building confident, knowledgeable, and well-rounded athletes while creating an environment where athletes feel challenged, supported, and excited to improve. Whether she's working with a beginner learning the fundamentals, helping a competitive athlete prepare for their next level, or supporting an athlete through the recruiting process, Morgan's goal is always the same: Help athletes see what they're capable of — and give them the tools to get there.

Raegan Walter

Lead Instructor

Raegan Walter is a Lead Instructor with H.E.R. Softball Hub and brings firsthand experience as a collegiate softball athlete to her coaching. A catcher from Estevan, Saskatchewan, Raegan plays NCAA Division II softball at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, giving her valuable experience competing at a high level and understanding the demands of collegiate athletics. Her playing experience has shaped the way she works with younger athletes. Raegan understands what it feels like to be the player learning a new skill, struggling through a difficult adjustment, competing for a position, and working toward a bigger goal. As an instructor, Raegan focuses on creating an environment that is positive, energetic, and challenging. She believes athletes learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and pushing themselves outside of their comfort zone. Raegan works with athletes across a variety of ages and skill levels and is passionate about helping young players develop strong fundamentals while building confidence in their abilities. She especially enjoys being able to share lessons from her own playing career and helping athletes understand that development is a process — and that the small things they do consistently can make a major difference over time. Raegan's goal is to help athletes fall in love with the game while giving them the skills and confidence to chase wherever softball can take them.

Trent Walter

Co-Owner & Founder

Trent Walter is a co-owner and founder of H.E.R. Softball Hub and plays a key role in the organization's technical instruction, athlete development, and overall programming. With a strong background in softball coaching and player development, Trent is particularly passionate about helping athletes build strong fundamentals and develop the skills necessary to compete at a higher level. His approach to coaching is centered around quality repetitions, attention to detail, and purposeful development. Trent believes athletes improve most when they understand not only what they are doing, but why they are doing it. At H.E.R. Softball Hub, Trent works extensively with athletes on hitting, pitching, catching, throwing, defensive skills, and overall game development. He takes pride in identifying areas for improvement and breaking skills down into manageable pieces that athletes can understand and apply. Trent also understands that development doesn't happen overnight. Athletes need patience, consistency, and a coaching environment where they are encouraged to make mistakes, learn from them, and continue pushing forward. His goal is to help every athlete who comes through H.E.R. leave a little better than when they arrived — while developing the confidence and work ethic to continue improving long after the session is over. Develop the skill. Build the confidence. Trust the work.
